wedding bells and money woes

I am so frustrated right now. I wish we had more money, it would make life so much easier. I really am grateful for our situation as it could be so much worse but it's still tight right now. I know that because of money being tight we are having to rethink the wedding and cruise, or at least push it back which is fine. We found another cruise that is actually better and it leaves out of NYC, goes to Canada and New England which is a dream of mine and Stacey's.

I'm hoping that with my blogging I can help us earn extra income that we can sock away fora rainy day (or a cruise...). I joined up with Bloggerwave and so far I'm pretty happy. I've done several opps for them on my other blogs and am looking forward to writing for them more. Stacey joined and likes it too, as well as a few of our "mom friends". I came into it later in the game than the others though because I was skeptical, but I'm not anymore. I think that if I blog regularly I can bring in a decent income and still stay home with the boys and STILL get married lol!

Our team has raised over $900 for our walk! We are so very excited and grateful for everyone's donations. The boys are really excited to get their T-shirts they earned for raising donations and of course meeting Scooby Doo at the walk this weekend. It's going to be awesome! Thank you so much!!

A margarita sounds really good right now but I broke up with Jose Cuervo long ago. He was kicking my ass seriously. i learned the hard way about tequila thats for sure. Well school is kicking my ass too. I'm enrolled for summer as well as next fall. I'm only taking 6 credits this summer and 13 next fall. I don't think I can do more than that and I am worried about how I am going to handle fall with so much. It's going to be hard but I can do it (I hope). I thought my FAFSA was filled out but apparently there are some things I missed and have to take some paperwork to the school today. Finals are looming and I'm terrified. Hell my algebra final is 30% of my grade and I have a B right now but KNOW I an mot going to do well with the final. It's so scary and I will freak out if I have to retake this class!

It's been nice and quiet around here. Kristopher is at school, Eli is eating a sammich at the table and I am sitting here in silence. Eli was impressed because I took a cookie cutter and made his sandwich into a star shape. Nice to know I can still score points with the kids. I'm looking forward to next summer when we start trying for another baby to welcome into our family. I'm ready to do it, I'd do it today if I could.

no one bit...But I can say I feel healthier than ever. I have been a non-smoker since 5 weeks this Sunday! It's a huge accomplishment and I hope to stick to it. I wont beat myself up if I fail, but I've come this far right? My birthday was lovely, and full of love. All I could ask for if you ask me. We spent Sunday night in Tulsa (kid free too!), we saw Lily Tomlin perform and she really is fabulous! Monday morning was breakfast in bed and a lovely day driving around Tulsa looking at garden and big beautiful expensive houses while dreaming it could be us...It's been wonderful and I couldn't ask for anything more ever. Fact, I wont ask for anything more, I am blessed and have more than I ever thought I could or would. My emotional needs are beyond filled...bliss.

It's snowing *again* and I'm tired of this stuff. The boys are not in school today because of the weather (this state shuts down at the first instance of yucky weather) We have cabin fever but I don't know how to drive in the snow and ice so we are stuck inside. I'm getting ready for the super bowl party this weekend! We bought our new t.v. and its gorgeous! It's the nicest thing I've ever owned! I can't believe it I own a 42 inch flat screen t.v.!

Oh oh oh! we have a new family member. We adopted Sophie BellaCoco two nights ago and I am in love with her.

She's an unbelievably wonderful dog. I cannot believe we are so lucky she is a part of our family. She slept in the bed with us last night. She has really taken to all of us, of course she has made herself *my* dog though lol. I am so happy to have a little girl finally! We tool her to the groomer yesterday and she got purdied up, even with a bow :)

today is an important day!!! The floor installers will be here soon to put in our new laminate flooring! Woohoo once it's down then we can have our furniture delivered and it's like a whole new house! We've put a lot of time into this and it's so cool to see it all coming together. I cannot wait to post the pictures from this weekend in Memphis. I got to see Graceland!! We took the boys to the National Civil Rights Museum and hopefully taught them about Martin Luther King Jr. it was really weird to be at the exact place he died kind of eerie. I can't wait to write all about the trip as it was so damn awesome.

I sincerely hope everyone's holidays were truly wonderful. I know mine was. I made off with some killer stuff and was super surprised by the awesome loot. My honey is so good too me and totally did my head in with some serious gifts this year. I got an espresso machine with a built in coffee maker as well, of course my gorgeous diamond ring and XM RADIO FOR MY CAR!!! Woofreakinghoo! It's so kickass I cannot wait to enjoy 170 channels of listening pleasure :) My mom got us a pretty cool toaster with an egg cooker on the side, so you can toast english muffins and poach an egg at the same time while your canadian bacon is warming in the little tray too and voila! You have an Egg McMuffin!! I made Eggs Benedict (my favorite) on Christmas morning with it. My first try at Hollandaise sauce went pretty well if I do say so myself.

Stacey's parents got me some really nice things, including a GORGEOUS wool coat I had my eye on a few weeks back. Stacey got a $500 gift card to Home Depot for us to buy paint and whatnot since we are remodeling the house this week. We are also looking into laminate flooring and have someone coming over to look at it and give us an estimate. We headed over to Sonya's to have some good times and open presents. Amanda got me a super cool gift, she framed her meatball soup recipe for me and everyone is coming over for dinner tonight as I make it! Yaaay! I'm very excited about it.

I got more stuff than I could ever deserve, I went to sleep with my honey after some quiet alone time together while we said sweet things to each other and woke up feeling refreshed and happier than ever. I'm off to the grocery store to buy fixin's for the soup...it's to DIE for!

ok I am so freaking excited about the holidays that I am going to burst. I have always been so anti holiday it seems, but man oh man I have found the joy. I see the beauty and love of eing with people you love and feeling fullfilled. It's not about the presents, it's about the friendship of long friendships, the love of fellow loves, the joy in your kids eyes over pretty lights and fluffy trees...things like that. I'm happy as happy can be, my life has been blessed and I cannot be anymore grateful than I already am.
